Whether on foot while hiking, by bike, or on the panoramic cablecar – the mountain calls and offers numerous activities to make your summer vacation unforgettable. Your children can especially look forward to the nearby Rucki-Zucki Gaudialm, a huge alpine playground, and much more.

Our personal highlight: the Berg Gesund program, which promises pure variety! But even in the valley, there is plenty to discover!

Trailrunning

Enjoy running off the beaten path.

In Großarltal, every trail runner's heart beats faster, as the mountains offer fantastic trails. Enjoy breathtaking views on the paths leading tthrough the mountains and forests, and refuel at the many huts with local products from the alpine farmers.

Bike-Park Panorama

At the newly built Panorama Bike Park, you'll find short flow trails of various types, combined with jumps and technical ascents. The bike park is located 300 meters from the hotel and is easily accessible without car traffic. The use of this park is exclusive to Panorama customers and promises plenty of fun for both young and old.

Archery at the Hoamalm.

At Hoamalm, there's an adventurous archery course. Discover 14 alpine animals and go on a hunt. Bow and arrows for all ages are available for rent.

Rock climbing in Großarl.

"Kraxeln" for beginners and advanced climbers.

A secured via ferrata named "Kupfergeist" runs through the "Hüttschlager Wand" – a 150m vertical rock face with difficulty grades ranging from C to E. For beginners, there is also a shorter and easier practice via ferrata called "Gletschergoaß" parallel to it, with difficulty grades ranging from A to C. It spans 150m in length and reaches a height of 50m.

The leisure center - reachable from the hotel in a two-minute walk.

The adventure pool in the leisure center with its 4 different pools provides essential cooling off on hot days. It is open for you in the summer during fair weather from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Whether you're a pro or a hobby player, all tennis enthusiasts will find their enjoyment in Großarltal. There are five modern outdoor sand tennis courts available.

Rucki Zucki's Gaudi Alm is one of the most beautiful playgrounds in the Salzburg region. Children can explore a children's farm, a mini mountain farm, a mountain stream, an alpine lake with rafts, a crystal mine, and much more.

Furthermore, both young and old can enjoy themselves with mini golf, beach volleyball, street soccer courts, or football fields.

Excursions

Once you've explored Großarltal, there are countless excursion destinations awaiting you in the Salzburg region, catering to both adults and children alike. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy experiences such as the Lichtensteinklamm gorge or the Eisriesenwelt ice caves. History buffs can immerse themselves in the past at Hohenwerfen Castle. Additionally, the city of Salzburg, Mozart's birthplace, beckons with its numerous attractions, making it perfect for a day trip or a brief stop on your journey home.
